AHLA Partners with the Diversity Movement to Promote Inclusion and Excellence in Health Law
- July, 08, 2022
Washington, D.C. – High-quality health care requires excellence in health law, and both depend on expert and instructive information. As part of its commitment to provide superior educational resources for its diverse membership, The American Health Law Association (AHLA) has initiated a strategic partnership with The Diversity Movement (TDM).
The two organizations share a commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA), and their strategic partnership will enable both to combine their expertise to promote meaningful, positive changes in the U.S. healthcare system through education, information, and dialogue.
“Our constant goal as an Association is to ensure that every member can participate in a collegial, friendly, and mutually respectful environment as we work together to serve the health law community,” comments David S. Cade, Chief Executive Officer of AHLA. “We are excited to continue our partnership with TDM as we work together to create an inclusive and equitable forum for all AHLA members.”
AHLA looks forward to inviting its members to experience TDM’s high-quality educational programming such as diversity certifications, digital accessibility solutions, and technology products like the award-winning MicroVideos by The Diversity Movement. As one of TDM’s 100+ clients, the AHLA Board of Directors has participated in TDM’s educational programs and has seen first-hand the impact of The Diversity Movement’s program offerings.
“AHLA has been a terrific client: thoughtful, committed and ready to do the work to prepare for the future. This partnership allows our organizations to tap each other’s strengths and resources to improve equity, reduce disparities, and create cultures of inclusion throughout the healthcare industry and the legal sector,” said Donald Thompson, chief executive officer at The Diversity Movement. “Together, our potential for impact is tremendous.”
