Eligibility Requirements
This award is open to health law professionals who demonstrate:
- Sustained commitment to HIT educational activities with positive impact on AHLA members through speaking, writing, and educational resource development
- Innovative approaches to ensure the highest level of Health IT education
- Leadership through contributions to AHLA programs including webinars, conferences, publications, or Practice Group activities
- Active membership in AHLA's Health Information and Technology Practice Group
- High level of commitment to Health IT education within AHLA's membership
- Active mentoring of AHLA members who focus on Health IT legal and regulatory issues
