Student Writing Award Recipients

Julia Sun is the recipient of AHLA’s inaugural Student Writing Competition. Julia is a second-year law student at the University of Illinois College of Law. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human biology from UC San Diego and has a background in regulatory matters, having worked in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Her interests lie at the intersection of law, science, and innovation, with a focus on navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
