U.S. Court in Texas Strikes FTC’s Non-Compete Ban

The U.S District Court for the Northern District of Texas set aside August 20 the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC’s) final rule banning nearly all non-compete clauses in employment agreements as an unfair method of competition. The rule was set to take effect September 4.
