IRS Finalizes Regulations on Medicare Drug Negotiation Excise Tax Reporting

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) published July 5 a final rule (89 Fed. Reg. 55507) on reporting liability for the excise tax that may be imposed on manufacturers, producers, or importers of designated drugs that fail to negotiate with Medicare on certain drug prices.
