Florida Challenges HHS Final Rule on ACA Nondiscrimination Protections

Florida is suing the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to block a recently issued final rule spelling out that the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA’s) nondiscrimination prohibition in health care “on the basis of sex” includes sexual orientation and gender identity.
