The Ninth Circuit ordered September 4 a lower court to enter judgment for United Behavioral Health (UBH) on denial of benefits claims in the closely watched action under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) challenging the insurer’s use of internal coverage guidelines for mental health services.
