New Jersey Imaging Provider Agrees to Revise Policies, Practices to Resolve Disability Discrimination Complaint

A New Jersey imaging provider must put in place policies and procedures to ensure patients with disabilities have the the same access to care as other patients under a settlement agreement to resolve a complaint filed by a woman who alleged she was denied a mammography because she used a wheelchair, the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) announced August 5.
