Last year, Congress passed the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), which sought to expand protections for employees and applicants who are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or recently experienced a pregnancy. This week, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued its final rule interpreting that law.
