CMS Nixes “Stacking” Requirement in Medicaid Drug Rebate Proposal

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will not finalize a proposal that cumulative discounts, rebates, or other arrangements must be “stacked” (aggregated) in drug manufacturers’ Medicaid “best price” reporting, according to an update posted May 15.
