OCR Reminds Hospitals, Nursing Homes to Ensure Non-Discriminatory Visitation Policies

The Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR) issued January 25 new guidance to help remind hospitals and nursing homes of their obligations under federal law to ensure facility visitation policies do not discriminate on the basis of religion.
