New Jersey Supreme Court Orders New Trial in Privileging Row After Nixing $24 Million Award to Neurosurgeons

The New Jersey Supreme Court vacated a $24 million damages award to eleven neurosurgeons and their practice group against The Valley Hospital after a jury found it breached an implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing when it entered into an exclusive agreement with another medical group that resulted in the termination of plaintiffs' hospital privileges.
