U.S. Court in Georgia Refuses to Extend State’s Medicaid Demo

A federal court in Georgia denied July 15 the state’s request to extend by three years its Medicaid demonstration waiver that includes work and premium requirements after implementation was delayed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) attempt to withdraw its initial approval of the program.
