U.S. Court in Illinois Holds Chicago Health System Must Face Pixel Tracking Lawsuit

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois refused July 9 to dismiss the bulk of the claims asserted in a putative class action alleging Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) embedded tracking pixels on its website that collected and transmitted patients’ personally identifiable health information to third parties like Google and Facebook.
