CMS Floats New Medicare “Drug List” Model with $2 Copayment Limit

A standardized list of generic drugs for common conditions like high cholesterol and high blood pressure would be available for a low, fixed copayment of no more than $2 for a month’s supply under a new proposed model from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, according to an October 8 press release.
