Telehealth Platform to Pay $7 Million over Alleged Improper Data Sharing Practices

Telehealth platform Cerebral, Inc. would pay $7 million to resolve allegations it improperly disclosed consumers’ sensitive personal health information to advertisers and also mislead customers about its cancellation policies under a proposed consent order the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced April 15.
