Proposed Rule Would Lift Restrictions on Organ Transplants from Donors with HIV to Recipients with HIV

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) published September 12 a proposed rule (89 Fed. Reg. 74174) that would remove certain restrictions on transplanting kidneys and livers from donors with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) to recipients with HIV.
