DEA Issues New Rules on Remote Prescribing of Controlled Substances

The Drug Enforcement Administration issued January 15 several new rules to permanently adopt certain pandemic-era telehealth flexibilities for prescribing controlled substances without conducing an in-person evaluation while also establishing additional patient protections.
