AHLA offers a variety of volunteer opportunities tailored to your professional needs. Types of Volunteer Roles 

Volunteers are the driving force behind AHLA! We offer diverse opportunities for members of all specialties and experience levels to contribute. Each new volunteer makes AHLA more dynamic, inclusive, and better equipped to achieve our shared objectives.  

Positions include (but are not limited to): 

• Authors: Connections, Journal of Health and Life Sciences Law, bulletins, briefings, toolkits, 101 courses, peer reviewers, and editors 
• Speakers: Live webinars, podcast, and in-person or virtual program faculty 
• Participants: Judging panels, moderators, and focus groups 
• Communications Champions: Social Media, Community Ambassadors, Cohort Captains
• Mentors: Available for all career levels 
• Volunteer Leaders: Board of Directors, Councils, Editorial Board, Practice Groups, Program Planning Committees, and Review Board
