Michigan Legislature Codifies AHLA's Arbitrator Training Course
- June, 10, 2021
The American Health Law Association (AHLA), along with the American Arbitration Association, are the only organizations designated by Michigan’s new surprise medical billing law (Michigan Public Health Code 333.24511(5)) to train arbitrators.
“It is an honor for AHLA’s arbitrator training to be enshrined in state law,” comments Geoff Drucker, Senior Director of Dispute Resolution Service, “We look forward to continuing the important work of providing AHLA arbitrators, mediators, and hearing officers with the skills to resolve even the toughest cases fairly, quickly, and affordably.”
AHLA’s Dispute Resolution Service is the only national service dedicated exclusively to resolving disputes in the health care industry. To learn more about AHLA’s national roster of arbitrators, mediators, and hearing officers or to learn about serving as a neutral, visit AHLA’s Dispute Resolution Service site.
