AHLA Announces an Updated Awards and Recognition Webpage and Invites Health Law Professionals to Serve on Judging Panels
- February, 02, 2023
Washington, D.C. – AHLA recently updated their Awards and Recognition page to create a more responsive and interactive experience for AHLA members. AHLA celebrates individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements, commitment to the mission and values of the Association, and service to the health law community.
“The newly reimagined AHLA Awards and Recognition Program will provide even more ways to highlight and celebrate all those individuals who have made an impact on AHLA and the health law community,” said Jennifer English Lynch, Membership Concierge for AHLA. “This new program is designed to be even more open and transparent about the awards eligibility criteria and selection processes to make sure all voices are heard and that everyone feels accepted and valued.”
The Association continues to follow best practices and take tangible action to advance inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility by being open and transparent about eligibility criteria, mitigating bias by bringing discipline and consistency to the evaluation and selection process; and by recognizing the many contributions of its volunteers and leaders.
AHLA is seeking judges to serve on a panel to assist in reviewing and scoring entries for the 2023 AHLA Awards Program. Upon final determination, the judging panel will provide its recommendation of the Award winner to the Awards Advisory Group. The judging period will be May-June, 2023.Interested health law professionals can apply to be part of a judging panel here.
