His dedication to AHLA extends beyond speaking engagements; Barry was an active member of AHLA’s Board of Directors, where he contributed to the Quality Council and Professional Resources Committee. Notably, during his tenure on the Professional Resources Committee, he collaborated with staff to establish the Association’s Health Law Archive, a comprehensive database containing over 30,000 health law documents.

Throughout his career, Berry has been a highly regarded speaker, writer, and mentor, impacting the health law profession positively and influencing future generations of health law professionals. Greenburg Founders Award.
“As a pioneer of Medicare reimbursement law, Dennis took to heart the saying ‘no money, no mission’ and tirelessly dedicated himself to ensuring his clients received the reimbursement they were due so they could continue their mission of caring for the sick and vulnerable. All of us here at King & Spalding, but especially the healthcare team, were privileged to experience firsthand Dennis’s passion and dedication to his healthcare clients, his colleagues, and the field of healthcare law. We’re proud to see our former partner so deservedly recognized for his decades of service to AHLA and the healthcare community.”
