AHLA Announces a New Publication to Help Health Lawyers Navigate State Health Care Fraud Law

Washington, D.C. - AHLA is pleased to announce a new publication: Health Care Fraud Law: A 50 State Survey. For the first time, all health law professionals have access to a long-standing resource created by the Fraud and Abuse Practice Group in a new, convenient desk reference.

“As fraud and abuse laws often vary from state to state, health law professionals need to be equipped with the right knowledge and understanding to aid their clients,” comments David S. The authors have distilled statutory language, regulatory provisions, formal and informal guidance from enforcement agencies, and judicial interpretations, which impact how fraud and abuse laws are applied. Health Care Fraud Law: A 50 State Survey reviews the current status of health care fraud and abuse laws at the state level and provides readers with the regulatory knowledge they need to more efficiently undertake their own research for clients.
