First Reflections—Staying Connected During Challenging Times

I recently saw a t-shirt with a mock Trip Advisor review for the year 2020. It read, “One Star—Very bad. Would not recommend.” I thought that nicely captured the prevailing mood. It has been a year of many challenges, with no clear end in sight. As I write, the new school year is about to begin, with many schools opting for a full semester of remote learning. As a result, the coming months will be especially challenging for our members who are the parents of school-age children. In addition to their professional responsibilities, they will add the role of teacher for their children who are attending virtual school. For many reasons, I think all of us will be happy to put 2020 in our rear-view mirror.
