Dispute Resolution—Arbitration Just Became More Appealing

When drafting contracts, health lawyers designate whether disputes will be resolved in court or in arbitration. Most select arbitration to keep sensitive business and patient information confidential, to place complex factual and legal issues in the hands of subject matter experts, and to conserve their client’s time and money. However, some health lawyers are understandably wary of being stuck with an incorrect award. This concern can now be mitigated.
