The health care and life sciences landscape continues evolving with new legal developments, many of which may impact stakeholders such as manufacturers, distributors, researchers, and health care providers. Change remains a constant theme when observing progress in rare disease therapies and when considering the regulation of laboratory developed tests, drug shortages, and fraud and abuse issues. This article explores some of the key updates in the life sciences space and looks at what may be ahead as these developments play out.
