HHS Providing $350 Million to Health Centers for COVID-19 Vaccinations
- December 02, 2022
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is launching a $350 million initiative to increase COVID-19 vaccinations, particularly in underserved populations, the agency announced November 22.
The Expanding COVID-19 Vaccination initiative will distribute the funding directly to health centers throughout the country to support their efforts to administer COVID-19 vaccinations through mobile, drive-up, walk-up, or community-based vaccination events, a press release said.
All Health Resources and Services Administration-funded health centers and Health center look-alikes that received American Rescue Plan funding will be eligible to participate in the initiative.
