U.S. Court in Washington Tosses ERISA Action over Residential Mental Health Treatment Coverage Denial

A federal court in Washington granted June 12 summary judgment to a self-funded employee benefits plan and its administrator Premera Blue Cross in an action alleging violations of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) over the denial of a teenager’s residential mental health treatment.
