LabCorp to Pay $19 Million to Resolve Whistleblowers’ Action Alleging Kickback Scheme

Laboratory Corporation of American Holdings (LabCorp) has agreed to pay $19 million to resolve a False Claims Act (FCA) whistleblower action alleging it participated in a scheme to bill Medicare for blood draws that were tainted by illegal kickbacks to physicians, according to a February 6 press release.
