U.S. Court in New York Says Omnicare Properly Denied Discovery of Proposed RAC Audits in FCA Action

A federal magistrate judge properly refused to compel the government to produce documents related to a proposed audit of certain prescription drug dispensing practices that Omnicare, Inc. sought as part of its defense to a False Claims Act (FCA) action against it, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York held June 10.
