Eighth Circuit Stays Injunction of Rule Extending ACA Health Care Coverage to DACA Recipients

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients can resume enrolling in qualified health plans through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace across the country after the Eighth Circuit issued a temporary stay of an injunction blocking the administration from enforcing in 19 states a rule that redefined “lawfully present” for purposes of ACA coverage, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced.
