HHS Issues Letter to State Governors on End of COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra sent a letter February 9 to state governors giving 90 days’ notice that the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) will end on May 11, 2023.
