The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington refused January 27 to dismiss a medical negligence action against Life Care Centers of America (LCCA) brought by the families and estates of two former residents who died at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic at one of its skilled nursing facilities in Kirkland, WA .
