CMS Boosts Medicare Rates for Dialysis Facilities in 2023

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued October 31 a final rule that will increase Medicare payments under the End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Prospective Payment System (PPS) by 3.1% for hospital-based facilities and 3.0% for freestanding facilities in calendar year 2023.
