CMS Underscores Regulatory Expectations for Preventing Violence in Hospitals

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is reminding hospitals of their regulatory obligations under the Medicare Conditions of Participation to provide a safe health care setting with a new Quality, Safety & Oversight and Survey & Operations groups memorandum issued November 28.
