GoodRx to Pay $1.5 Million to Resolve FTC’s First Health Breach Notification Enforcement Action

California-based digital health platform GoodRx will pay a $1.5 million civil penalty to resolve allegations that it failed to report unauthorized disclosures of consumer health data that was shared with Facebook, Google, and other companies for advertising purposes, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced February 1.
