Most individuals are familiar with restrictive covenants, either as an employee being asked to sign one before starting a new job or as an employer seeking to enforce one to protect their business from competition. Restrictive covenants are any agreement between the parties that limit an individual’s ability to engage in a certain activity for a period of time.
