Health Care Spending Hits $4.5 Trillion, CMS Reports

Health care spending grew 4.1% in 2022 to reach $4.5 trillion, faster than the 3.2% increase in 2021, but well short of the 10.6% growth in 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Office of the Actuary said December 13.
