Association Health Plan Bill Reintroduced in House

House Education and Workforce Committee Chairman Tim Walberg (R-MI) reintroduced April 1 the Association Health Plans Act (H.R. 2528), which allows employers and self-employed individuals to join together and form group health plans based on industry or geography without being subject to many of the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA’s) requirements.
