OIG Finalizes Rule on Information Blocking Penalties

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued June 27 a final rule implementing new authorities under the 21st Century Cures Act for investigating claims of and imposing civil money penalties (CMPs) for information blocking.
