CMS Touts Medicare ACO Savings of $1.8 Billion in 2022

The Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) generated $1.8 billion in net savings for Medicare across Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) in 2022, marking the sixth consecutive year the value-based payment program has yielded overall savings, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) reported August 24.
