HHS Reopens Pledge for Health Care Organizations to Reduce Emissions

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Climate Change and Health Equity (OCCHE) is again inviting U.S. hospitals, health systems, suppliers, pharmaceutical companies, and other industry stakeholders to submit pledges to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% by 2030, to net zero by 2050, and to publicly report on progress in meeting those goals.
