U.S. Court in Minnesota Blocks State Law Regulating Generic Drug Price Increases

A Minnesota law that penalizes manufacturers of generic drugs who impose “excessive price increases” for their products is likely unconstitutional because it directly regulates transactions that take place wholly outside the state, a federal court ruled December 4.
