Generic Drug Makers Teva, Glenmark Settle DOJ Price-Fixing Probe

Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc. will pay criminal penalties of $225 million and $30 million, respectively, under deferred prosecution agreements (DPAs) to resolve allegations they participated in a far-reaching conspiracy to fix prices for generic drugs, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced August 21.
