U.S. Court in New York Says Podiatrist Can Proceed with Retaliation Claims, But Nixes Remaining FCA Allegations

A federal court in New York dismissed June 20 the bulk of a whistleblower action against a podiatrist and his practice alleging they violated the False Claims Act (FCA) by improperly reusing single-use medication vials resulting in the submission of fraudulently inflated bills to Medicare and Medicaid.
