U.S. Court in California Allows Whistleblower Claim Against Kaiser Alleging Compliance Software Tampering

A former senior practice leader in Kaiser Permanente’s national compliance office can move forward with his claim that the managed care conglomerate intentionally configured auditing software programs to overlook readily identifiable instances of fraud resulting in violations of the False Claims Act (FCA), the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California held February 13.
