Fifth Circuit Affirms Ruling That Nixed Revised No Surprises Act Dispute Resolution Rule

The Fifth Circuit rejected August 2 the administration's revised rule to implement the No Surprises Act's (Act’s) independent dispute resolution (IDR) process for resolving payment disputes between providers and insurers after agreeing with the lower court that the issuing agencies exceeded their authority in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act.
