FDA Finalizes Disclosure Standards for Direct-to-Consumer Prescription Drug Ads

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued November 21 a long-awaited final rule (88 Fed. Reg. 80958) that sets out standards for determining whether direct-to-consumer (DTC) prescription drug advertisements in television or radio meet federal disclosure requirements.
