U.S. Court in California Rejects Class Action Against Hospital over Alleged Website Disclosures Via Meta Pixel

Sharp Healthcare, which operates multiple hospitals and medical groups in San Diego, does not have to face a consolidated class action alleging it unlawfully disclosed patients’ sensitive health information without their consent to Meta Platforms, Inc. through the online tracking technology Meta Pixel embedded on its website, a federal district court in California held July 12.
