CMS Proposes 1.9% Payment Increase for Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities

Total payments to Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities (IPFs) are estimated to increase by 1.9%, or $55 million, in fiscal year (FY) 2024 under a proposed rule issued April 4 by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
